Ethan developed a love for music in early childhood, though his formal training began in his later teen years. He played trumpet in school band ensembles from age 11 through high school, performing in both concert and marching band and appearing in the 2023 Grand Nationals Marching Band Championships. At 17, he joined his school choir and appeared in the annual musical, The Little Mermaid, where he discovered his passion for the performing arts. After graduating, he began studying musical theatre at the JET-PAC in Webster, Texas. Over the next year, he expanded his training to include acting, singing, and a range of dance styles, such as ballet, contemporary, tap, aerial, and folklórico.

Ethan has since performed with several Houston-area groups, including Juxtapose Arts Collective, the University of Houston Mariachi Pumas, Danzas Folklóricas de Solei, and Space City Circus. He has trained under a wide range of instructors across disciplines, including band directors Ryan Demkovich, Aaron Gantt, and Jordan Barker; choreographers John Escalante and Caitlin Cannon Fagan; choir directors Michael Kessler and Jacquelyn Vondette; voice teacher Kelley van Slooten; acting instructor Travis Kirk Coombs; dance instructors Heather Steele and Melissa Ludwig Kunkle; aerial instructor Sara Chase; folklórico instructors Robert and Evelyn Mejía; and mariachi director José Longoria. His stage credits include The Little Mermaid, James and the Giant Peach, Urinetown, and Hadestown. Today, Ethan continues to train across disciplines and perform throughout the Houston area.
